When designing Waco High School’s interior spaces, O’Connell Robertson architects required a railing solution that combined durability, thoughtful design, and high levels of safety. Specifically, the chosen railings needed hidden mechanical connections to minimize tampering risks and ensure student and staff safety. As well as complementing the modern architecture, the railings had to endure daily use.
HDI Railing Systems addressed these needs by installing the Circum™ Round railing system throughout the school’s cafeteria, auditorium, walkways, and stairwells.
The system features picket and clear laminated glass infills secured by durable 304 stainless steel posts with a refined 240-grain brushed finish. Circum™ Round railings provide enduring safety while enhancing the school’s contemporary aesthetic.
