Fellowship Village in Basking Ridge, NJ, expanded its offerings with the construction of a state-of-the-art fitness center and spa. Designed by KDA Architects and managed by Sweetwater Construction, the two-story facility features cardio and strength training areas, a fitness studio, a salon/spa, saunas, and locker rooms that connect to the pool.

Design Needs
The fitness center’s modern design emphasizes wellness, functionality, and a welcoming atmosphere. To support this vision, the lobby staircase required a railing system that provided both safety and a sleek aesthetic.
The solution needed to integrate structural integrity with a contemporary, unobtrusive look, ensuring openness while meeting safety standards.
Crafting the Vision
HDI Railing Systems addressed these needs with the CIRCUM™ Round railing system, which combines premium stainless steel with tempered-laminated glass infill panels. This system balances functionality and elegance, maintaining a clean, open design while enhancing safety.
Incorporating wood handrails into the system added warmth and complemented the fitness center’s inviting atmosphere. The flush components and seamless transitions between wood and stainless steel ensured a cohesive and unobtrusive aesthetic, perfectly aligned with the center’s wellness-focused design goals.
The CIRCUM™ Round railing system, installed on the lobby staircase, delivered a secure and visually appealing solution. The clean, round posts and glass panels enhanced safety without compromising the open, modern feel of the space.
