Fortis™

The Fortis railing system is a pre-engineered laser cut metal panel system constructed with mechanical threaded connections to ensure an exact, precise, and secure fitting.  All railing systems are pre-assembled in our factory to verify fit and quality, then delivered in modular ready-to-install sections to minimize field labor and installation time.

Fortis™ Railing System Materials

The Fortis™ Railing System utilizes ½” x 2” rectangular stainless steel posts, fabricated from Type 304 or 316L stainless steel, with precision mechanical fittings to secure the infill panels.

An optional 1-1/2” diameter stainless steel handrail, also available in Type 304 or 316L, may be provided as required to meet applicable code requirements.

The primary visual and functional element of the system is the laser-cut, powder-coated metal infill panels, offered in a range of materials and thicknesses to suit design and performance requirements.

Depending on system configuration, panel perforation size, and loading criteria, a structural cap rail may be required at the top of the panels to ensure compliance and performance.

Infill materials are available in:

• Steel or aluminum
• Solid panels or laser cut hole perforations with various
  hole patterns and shape options to choose from
• Panel thickness ranging from 3/16” to ½”

Standard attachment methods are surface, side, core and weld

mounts. Custom attachment methods are available (contact HDI technical support).

Installation is available as required.
