Optik™ POD Opens Up Bold New Design Possibilities

HDI is pleased to present Optik POD, a glass infill railing system that provides a fresh twist on traditional shoe rail. Like HDI’s Optik Boss, Optik POD provides an ultra-clean glass installation that lets the surrounding design shine through.
Optik POD features glass mounts in a variety of geometric shapes including square, round and elliptical, providing a distinctive steel accent to your stairway. It can be side-mounted or surface-mounted with or without a steel base, presenting a range of exciting design possibilities.
Install Optik POD with no handrail for the ultimate minimalist design, or pair it with a stainless steel or wood handrail. Handrails are discreetly mounted to continue Optik POD’s clean lines and complement the stainless steel mounts. Add an optional steel top cap for a solid, substantial look.
Optik POD is made with high quality stainless steel in AISI 304 or 316 depending on environmental conditions. Finishes are 240 grain. Infills are available in tempered or tempered/laminated glass in ½” or ¾”.
