Lighting for Curved and Straight Features
HDI offers LED lighting in guardrails and handrails on our inox, CIRCUM and Ferric railing systems. Lighting is available on curved as well as straight designs. Curved railings are available with cool or warm white lighting only and must have a radius of 16′ or greater.
Secure, Hidden Wiring
All of our LED fixtures are concealed within the rails and feature hidden wiring back to the source. They rely on low voltage electricity with special heat sink designs that keep the rails cool indoors and out. The result is a safe, durable wiring system that provides subtle illumination. HDI provides all wiring, power suppliers and coordination during installation.
Color and Intensity Options
Our color options include cool or warm shades of white LED light as well as red, green, blue and yellow. In addition, we offer RGB LED lights that can be adjusted to provide just about any custom color you specify. RGB LEDs also allow color cycling with faded or stepped transitions through selected colors.
Our lighting systems further let you specify an output level of standard, medium or high intensity to provide just the right amount of light to suit your design.
Beams
In addition to color and intensity, you can specify the shape of the lighting cast on treads and walks by adjusting the beam spread. Choose from 60, 80 and 120 degree angles to create the effect you desire. Beams may also be angled to shed extra light on one side of the rail.
Lenses
All of our lighting systems are available with clear or frosted lenses. Frosted lenses provide a slightly dimmer, more diffused light and obscure the LED light points.
Additional Options
All of our systems can be customized with options such as dimmers, interfaces with Intelligent Control Systems and other enhancements.
